This hotel is honestly a 3 star hotel trying to wear a 4 star's mask. Not bad but also not great. Think of your typical Hilton hotel with limited/strained staffing, and add a casino, and a larger pool to it, and that's it. Pros: Location is great for several activities around Lake Tahoe Cons: Need to bring a power bar for extending plugs Condensation on Windows Limited service (room, spa hours, etc) Need to pay extra for garage (though they give you a barcode for your stay so that you don't overpay) Make what you will of it. You get a better experience from this place during their lull seasons.

Really enjoyed my time at Ballys. I got a king size bed room- it was really nice and spacious. If you get a Ballys Reward card- your overnight parking becomes $10 (instead of $20 which is nice!!) and even free if you’re a big winner and you move up the rewards system. There’s a Starbucks right at the end of the elevators so right when you come down in the morning you can get coffee and light breakfast. That came in handy. Overall the staff were really helpful and it was a great experience. I will say- all the extra fees were annoying- $27 resort fee daily and things like that- but I think that’s Nevada state taxes and such- not them necessarily. But overall great!

This is by far the best place I've been 10+ years vacationing in SLT. Mostly due to their Customer Experience Experts at all areas of this Hotel. The staff is friendly, kind, truly caring, accommodating and amazing. It's EXCELLENCE in motion. Special thanks to Nasly (She's bilingual),Joy, J.P. Sherry. I felt very pampered and cared for during my whole 4 day stay. 100% recommended! P. S. It was Christmas long holiday, super busy, blizzard storm and closed roads, frustrated clients all over and yet they're so well trained that they stayed Professional the whole time. Kept making you feel important. Kept making clients feel you matter. I know they had very long shifts and yet they were still caring and kind. That to me is priceless! Management, please make sure you mention these 3 employees on your morning business brief so they get the recognition they deserve. I owe them big time! P. S. S This is for the cleaning staff. Thank you. Room smell like first day of snow. Hyper white sheets and towels. Your bathroom cleaning was impeccable. The rug felt like new, so clean. Was it new? Anyway, thanks a million for your hard work. It did not go unnoticed. I've been moved to a different room today since I had to wait out the storm but I'll tip you again since it's such a spotless room. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable

It was a clean basic room. Nice cafe with decent pricing that offers breakfast lunch and dinner that was never overly crowded. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Downfall the pool closed at 8pm. And their arcade is small compared to surrounding resorts. The location is walking distance to the event center which was convenient. Our large group was never offered drink services when gambling at their casino for the 3 day weekend and it had an empty feel compared to the surrounding resorts.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at this hotel for one night. We came with our family and kids to see the snow and have a nice time. We chose this hotel because of the attractive price — the room cost $86 for our date, and parking was $20. A big plus for us was the indoor pool and jacuzzi, as well as the spa and gym. It’s a great option for both kids and adults. When we arrived, we also discovered that in addition to the casino on the first floor, there is an escape room and a game room where kids can play and adults can enjoy billiards. This was a pleasant surprise we didn’t know about in advance. Despite the reviews we had read (many people complained about cleanliness and communication with staff), we were probably lucky. Our room was absolutely clean — the bathroom, bedding, floors, and surfaces were all in excellent condition. Everything felt fresh and well maintained. We have no complaints about the room or the staff. The only downsides were a musty smell in the pool area, likely due to high humidity in the indoor space, and a noticeable cigarette smell in the lower levels of the hotel. Another issue we noticed: in the evening, someone left sunflower seed shells on the floor near the elevator instead of throwing them into the trash. When we checked out around 11 a.m. the next day, they were still there and hadn’t been cleaned. We also noticed quite a bit of trash on the carpet on our way from the pool to the room. It seems the hotel may be short-staffed or could improve the quality control of housekeeping. Overall, our stay was pleasant, and we had a good experience. We liked the value for the price, and we would consider staying here again. P.S The hotel is in a great location — the gondola, shops, restaurants, the lake, and other attractions are all within walking distance. This is a big plus, especially if you’re traveling with children. Our room had a small refrigerator, a TV, and a coffee machine.

Very reasonable price for the room. Pool very nice.. but jacuzzi was closed due to biohazard and the waterfall did not work. Refrigerator in room but no microwave.

Rooms are ok. Not great but not bad. Casino paid out for us. Lol. I wish. Food was how we ordered and servers are really quick to bring drinks. Been super fun day here. CVS right outside and between the store and casino hotel what could you need.

Great place for the family. Hear me out. There's a huge arcade in the hotel. The kids had so much fun. Food was excellent. Great stop. I haven't stayed at the hotel so I can't speak to that, but the restaurant and arcade will make it repeat stop.
